 Currently, the Public Service Commission has been given the responsibility to conduct written examination for the posts of security agencies, organized organizations and public institutions. According to this arrangement, the Public Service Commission has been conducting examinations in security agencies such as Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, National Investigation Department and public institutions including Nepal Telecom, Nepal Electricity Authority and Nepal Airlines Corporation.

 The Public Service Commission performs such functions in accordance with the Constitution of Nepal, Public Service Commission Act 2066, Public Service Commission Rules 2067, Public Service Commission (Operation) Directive 2067 and Code of Conduct for Public Service Commission Officers and Experts, 2069. Such actions taken by the Public Service Commission are impartial and confidential as required.

 All the work done by the Public Service Commission from recruitment to selection is done in a very independent and interference free environment. There is no room for doubt, urge or prejudice in its actions. The Public Service Commission is such a sacred institution, which does not look at the rich, the poor, the accessible, the underprivileged, caste, religion, regionalism, etc. It only looks at the specified educational qualifications and the individual's abilities. It is independent and autonomous in its actions, both legally and institutionally. So there is no place to blame for anything other than a small human error. Interviewing is also a major part of its work, which begins only after passing the written test.

 1. What is an interview?

 In order to select a qualified person for entry into the civil service, the Public Service Commission will conduct an oral examination interview only from the candidates who have passed the written examination. An interview is a dialogue in which a person's thoughts, attitudes, feelings, thoughts, position and dignity, values, ability to work, including the overall aspect is tested.


 3. How many candidates participate in the interview?

 Only candidates who have passed the written test can participate in the interview. The results of the written examination include the following additional number of vacancies for participation in the interview:

If the name of the examinee is repeated in the result of the written examination, there is a provision to add more candidates accordingly.
